Dr Michael Keane, Specialist Orthodontist

Dr Micheal Keane has over 30 years experience in orthodontics.

Micheal graduated from University College Cork and completed his masters at Eastman University of London.

Micheal has spent several years working with the health board and private clinics in Ireland and the UK.

We are privileged to have him on our team at Cavan Braces since 2010 producing outstanding results and creating fabulous smiles from one end of Cavan to other!

Dr. Joanne o’Riordan Dental Surgeon

Joanne qualified as a Dental Surgeon from University College Cork in 1995 and established the Church Street Dental & Implant Clinic located in Cavan in February 2000.

She is passionate about creating fabulous smiles through cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. Over her career she has continually improved her technically skills and has carried out two University Post Graduate Diplomas in Implant Dentistry and Sedation leaving her the most highly qualified general dental surgeon in this area.

She has almost 20 years of experience in orthodontics and loves to treat both children and adults. With her extensive training in Implant Surgery, she is specifically qualified for the safe placement of dental implants and implant restorations.

Joanne is also a dental seditionist and qualified to administer conscious sedation, and received a Diploma in Conscious Sedation from Trinity College Dublin.

In accordance with the Irish Dental Council recommendations, Joanne has completed an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Course and updates this certificate as necessary.

She recently has qualified as a CPR instructor and regularly trains her team in CPR and use of an AED. She loves the informative and social aspects of dental courses and regularly attends lectures in Ireland and abroad.
